We built Connecty on a simple belief: your personal information is yours. We exist to help you create and discover amazing events — not to profit from your data.

We do NOT sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason, ever.

We do NOT rent, lease, or trade your data to third parties.

We do NOT share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

We do NOT build advertising profiles from your activity to sell to marketers.

We do NOT have hidden data-sharing agreements that monetize your information.

What We Collect and Why

We only collect data that is strictly necessary to operate the platform:

Account information (name, email) — to create and manage your account

Event data — to help you create, manage, and discover events

Payment information — processed securely through Stripe, never stored on our servers

Basic usage analytics — to improve the platform experience, never shared externally

Third-Party Services

We work with a limited set of trusted service providers who process data strictly on our behalf:

Stripe — payment processing only

Cloud hosting — infrastructure only

Email service — transactional notifications only

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to perform the services we request. They cannot sell, share, or use your data for their own purposes.

Your Rights Under CCPA

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws, you have the right to:

Know what personal data we collect about you
Request deletion of your personal data
Opt out of the sale of personal data — though we have nothing to opt out of, because we never sell it
